Last fall I was invited to the Open House for Magnolia Gardens as the exclusive photographer. I had such a wonderful time exploring all of the beauty that lies on the property at Magnolia Gardens. Each area was decorated so wonderfully with luxurious florals from Jules Design and The Rose of Sharon. The Event Group offered the yummy catering and even had the bar open with "The Magnolia" as their signature drink!!!! Too cute! Claudia Slezak was in charge of this event and I just love her personality! She's such a great person to be around and an amazing event planner!
Magnolia Gardens Event Venue is the best kept secret in Northwest Arkansas. Their four unique venues on the property provide endless possibilities for weddings and receptions. Luscious grounds and groves of magnolia trees give brides and their guests a sense of privacy even though the property is located in the heart of downtown Springdale.
The Lower Lawn and Gazebo was decorated in a fall theme by The Rose of Sharon.
The Lower Lawn and Gazebo can be reached from the Inn by flowing steps or from the west entry of the property. The Gazebo is a 1,200 square foot structure accented with white lights; it is most often used as a dance floor or a showplace for wedding cakes, a display for hors d’oeuvres or a stage for elegant dinners. Features of the area include a Koi pond with a classic white arched bridge and water fountains on each side of the bridge.
The Upper Lawn features a picturesque wisteria arbor circled by majestic trees. The Upper Lawn can accommodate 200 plus guests with possibilities of outdoor tented receptions in the magnolia grove.
The Sunroom, an elegant setting for your special occasion, is surrounded on three sides by glass walls and doors. Sixty guests can be accommodated at tables and chairs or 90 guests seated cathedral-style. The floor and steps are antique brick and a well, built over the original cistern, serves as a focal point. Outside the Sunroom walls is a wooden deck, which is available for usage with rental. Both areas are complemented by an intimate garden of azaleas, perennials and annual color with a lion fountain as its central focus. Rental includes front entry, bar area and Sunroom.
Inside Magnolia Hall the luxe florals created by Jules Design photographed perfectly! That room is amazing!
Magnolia Hall offers 2,800 square feet for your unique event with three walls of glass nestled beside 100 year old magnolia and yellowwood trees. This venue can accommodate a banquet with seating for 150 or cathedral style seating for approximately 180 guests for wedding ceremonies. The service area has restrooms with handicap access and a full service bar. Other amenities include a built-in sound system with a CD player and an iPod docking station.
The Event Group provided the catering for Magnolia's Open House. The servers brought out platters one by one from the kitchen and it was exciting to see the neat creations they came out with each time!
I had a great time and I'm so thankful they allowed me the opportunity to come capture the beauty of Magnolia Gardens! I'm looking forward to shooting a few weddings there soon!
